SCOPE OVERVIEW
Make safe:
Installation of a protective plastic membrane across the rear yard to minimise water ingress.
Relocation of the existing fence to the building line, positioned over the concrete slab.
Construction of New Footing and Gabion Retaining Wall:
Excavation and removal of approximately 260 tonnes of soil.
Supply and construction of a new structural footing and gabion wall, including a rock shelf.
Wall dimensions: 7 metres high x 17 metres wide.
Works to be completed as per the engineer’s specifications and in accordance with AS 4678-2002 (Earth-Retaining Structures).
Fencing and Safety Installations:
Supply and installation of a metal fence/balustrade at the rear of the property.
Fence to be securely installed on top of the gabion wall.
Landscaping:
Final landscaping works to restore and improve the visual and functional use of the rear yard following construction.
